MALA DE HERANÇA HATTINGEN
Illustrations, logo, poster and Onepage Website for the “Mala de Herança Hattingen” project, which deals with Portuguese as mother-tongue and is aimed in particular at young families and their children.
The three characters are depicted in a neutral manner without a strong definition of gender or ethnicity, in order to ease their association with the target audience. The environment’s profile is based on the “Buegeleisenhaus” museum, a symbol of the German city of Hattingen.
A rich color scheme is focused on cases and books, in reference/allusion to the project’s literary activities and its mobile library, all of which fit into a case; in addition to the cultural background that children inherit from their families. The irregularly dense strokes and spatterings of paint that serve as graphic features are intended to stress the project’s artistic and cultural characteristics.
